Our basic fee to design a web site of up to five pages and upload it to the web is $800.
If there is photography or photo editing involved, or if there are any special items such as reply forms or credit card payments through PayPal,
it costs a little more because it takes more time. But it isn't likely to run over $1000 for a basic, attractive, informational web site of up to five pages. Registering a domain name costs $20 per year, and hosting is $15 per month. That includes an email address that has your domain name in it (yourname@yourcompany.com). If you need a logo designed, that is extra. Probably $300 - $400 or so, depending on the complexity of it (and how many times you change it!). Maintaining the web site (changing the photos to keep it fresh, making any updates to a calendar of events, that sort of thing) is done at the rate of $50 per hour. We recommend a little updating once a month to keep people returning to your site. These are estimates, but a basic, informational web site is all most people need.
